“When Violence Hits Home: Dynamics of Domestic Violence” (60-120 minutes)
Domestic violence has effects far beyond closed doors–the effects spill over to the children and entire communities. Our presentation and materials teach people how to spot the warning signs, focusing on healthy versus unhealthy relationships. Participants learn how to tell when someone else (or even them personally) is in danger, the options available, and how to plan for future safety.
“In Her Shoes” (120-240 minutes – depending on group size)
In this series created by the Washington State Coalition Against Domestic Violence, participants move, act, think, and make choices as a person experiencing an abusive relationship. Following the experiential session, group participants discuss their experiences and observations.
